Update on Mac

Mac (aka Mac-Attack, Big Mac, Macster) turned a year old!
Although we have only had Mac for the last 3 months of his first year, we can’t remember what life was like without him. He brings so much joy and excitement to our family. Mac is a constant source of energy and love. He is also the biggest goofball and isn’t afraid to show it! He loves running around the yard and going for long walks (who needs a gym membership when you have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy!) but he also loves curling up on the couch for some cuddles. Mac has mastered loose leash walking and we are now working on the command “come” in hopes that maybe one day he can go off-leash at the park.

We could not have asked for a better human companion and friend for our 2 labs. He is loyal, eager to please and a big teddy bear We love him to bits!

I think it’s hard not to have a soft spot for him! He is such a fantastic dog. Between him and our 2 labs the family is staying very active. They get about 3 walks a day, some days I take them for bike rides and other days we go for a run at the park.
Mac also had his first experience sleeping in a tent. We plan on taking him camping with us this summer so we gave him a test-run in a tent in the backyard, and he passed with flying colors! I can’t wait to go camping and finally see how he reacts to being able to swim in the river. We don’t have a pool so this is going to be another first for him.

Mac was an unbelievably well behaved boy, and soooo handsome. I am really happy to hear he so loved.

The photos shows that he is a fun-loving, kinda guy! Mac’s happy every day. Sounds like he is going to have an exciting summer.

I’m glad to see someone else also has 3 fur-babies!! Mac is so lucky to be in such a loving home. Take care of each other Mac!!!!! We love the updates on our friends.

Wow! Our Border Collie mix was also called Mac (because he loved Big Macs) and then became “The Maxter”. He left us a month ago after 18 wonderful years with us. With a name like that, your dog must be an amazing dog… ours sure was.
