Update from Marley

Just a short update for now… we’re very busy getting to know one another, you see. But here’s a picture from Marley’s (formerly Charity) first day home. Happy to report that this morning was Marley’s first time at home without her humans and she did just fine - lunch time break held no unpleasant surprises. She clearly feels safe in her crate, but she also has the choice to get out and stretch her little legs - which she certainly does any time she thinks there’s attention to be had. Hope she’s as happy as we are!

Missed her sweet, little face this morning.
Darlene so very glad to see our little Mill Mum stepping forward. It takes a special family to adopt a Mill Mum - I am so happy to see a picture of Marley outside. With our first Mill Mum; it took us a few months before we could safely have her outside. Her first time outside had her ‘screaming’ - wet herself etc… we had to bring her out in her carry cage. Had a special harness made for her - preventing her from bolting / rolling / so she wouldn’t hurt herself. Her pads were so very badly cut up that she could never run - she eventually learned how to hoprun which was so beautiful to see. I could go on and on but I see that Marley is halfway there with u guys…. like I said on open forum if you ever need me; I am here. I will check fanmail often - we are from NB - adopted Camy ( formerly Flirt ) from Animatch 2 years ago. She was an unwanted Mum not too sure she was a Mill Mum though because of certain factors. I am so happy for you - I wish that you find the same connection our family received with Lady Q after she learned to trust humans. She was my shadow - my best buddy. Once in awhile, a dog will enter your life and touch your heart/bonding with it. I love Camy big time -she has bonded with my husband, she comes to me to be petted etc.. My husband calls her his little mischievous pup. I too have a few pictures of Camy on Fan Mail. You have to look for them
Camy is a little Yorkie by the way.
Hi Camy’s Mom! Thanks for your kind words. I would like to respond via your e-mail, but I can’t go pick up the address now that Marley has been moved to the SUCCESS STORY page.
Would you mind re-sending it? Thanks!
Would be my pleasure: lilianesavoie@yahoo.ca
Congratulations Darlene and Marley!! What a nice photo! She looks so content and like she has always lived there. Thank you for your update. Please keep in touch as we love to follow the progression of our former adoptee’s new and improved lives! Please give her a good tummy rub from me!
Hi Darlene: How are things going with Marley ? I’ve been thinking of your family wondering how Marley is adapting to all of the new things coming her way !!! It is such a pleasure watching them grow in confidence - watching their love for us bloom !! Since I didn’t have your email; I wrote via open forum but you can reply via my email above. Sincerely Lily
