Théo

Hello everyone,
I would like to pay tribute to my beloved sheltie Théo (on the left), who passed away peacefully at home this week. He was 15 years old and I adopted him along with Celeste (on the right) nine years ago from Animatch.
Words cannot express my deep sadness at his passing. He was so gentle and good-natured. I don’t really know how to sum up his life with us…I know I will always remember him playing with Celeste (you know that mouth wrestling thing they do), him sticking his whole head in the snow and his happy, barky greetings.
I also want to express my deep gratitude to Animatch for giving Théo a second (third?) chance. He came to Animatch after having bitten a child. I can only say that my daughter was born 7 years ago and he was nothing but a perfect gentlemen to her. He had one quirk that may have caused such an event: a terror of balls and balloons. Once this was understood and accepted, everything was fine.
I feel truly blessed for having known Théo.
Susan

So sorry for your loss. What a beautiful picture, and it tells a story of a much loved dog. You were blessed to have Theo in your life and he was truly blessed to have finally found you.
Absolutely gorgeous photograph! Beautiful dogs! Please accept my sincere sympathy on the loss of your sweet Théo…15 years is a long, wonderful life for a doggie. I know, I also lost a 15.5 year old pooch! It does hurt a little less with time. Focus on the wonderful memories!
I am so sorry for your loss. They fill our lives with so much joy and remain alive in our memories. Beautiful picture.
This picture must capture a moment you will treasure forever. Your deep loss only shows how much of a relationship we can have with our furry companions. They ask for so little but give so much and even after their passing they continue to give in the memories and warm moments we will keep in our hearts. It has been three and half years since our Toby passed and I can still feel his head resting on my knee ...
What a beautiful picture and those eyes…
I am also sorry for your loss, what a beautiful life you gave him and what enjoyment he gave you.
They are members of our family and we care for them so much.
Thank you for writing to us, take care.
My sympathies on your loss. He was lucky that you gave him a second chance after being told that he had bitten someone. That takes a special person and I’m sure he really loved you for giving him all of those years.
Some furbabies touch our hearts - others touch our soul…. Théo found loving arms and a loving home with you - adopted furbabies are very very special - Théo will be waiting for you at rainbow bridge to return all your love. Until you all meet again cherish those memories of Théo.
Hello everyone,
Thank you for all your kind words. They are much appreciated!
We have buried Théo beneath the treehouse on our land (we live in the country). We thought it was the perfect spot because he would always follow us when we went to have a picnic up there. He would plop himself down below us and wait for the tidbits we let fall through the cracks between the floor boards. Sometimes our aim was a bit off and they would land on his head! LOL! He sure loved to eat!
Helen and team - thanks so much for the card.
