Thank You, Animatch!

This has been long overdue, but myself and my new (well, Aug. ‘10) family member, Max (formerly “Taxi”), wanted to say a huge thank you! Max is an outstanding little guy. His spirit and energy is the perfect match for his new sister (my Boxer, Lilly), and they have become inseparable; the best of friends. When my Boston passed in early ‘10, I thought my Boxer could live without a companion. I was wrong. 5 months later, she was still grieving, moping, attaching herself to every small dog she saw. I decided that if I were to bring another dog into my home (I also have a 3 year old son), it would have to be the right dog. Max was an instant hit with both Lilly and my son. He is energetic, which matches the vibe of my family, but he is excellent and careful with my son. He’s affectionate, playful and instantly brings a smile to whomever he meets. His unique looks bring lots of compliments and attention, which he adores. I can’t imagine our home without him now. So, thank you. Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to adopt Max (Taxi). He’s happy, healthy and in his forever home.

Hello Max!! Better late than never!! Nice close-up!! Thank you for sending us an update. It sounds like you are a hit to this family. Congratulations!! His unique looks are very hard to forget. I’m sure the volunteers will be very happy to see him in his forever home. Keep in touch!!

I will never forget Taxi (now Max); such a lively, lovable (and unusual looking) dog. I do remember when you came to meet Taxi for the first time with your Boxer and little boy .... I’m not sure you were immediately sure that Taxi was the dog for you, but Taxi was defintely ready to be part of your family from the moment he met all of you.
