Shep loves his new home

To everyone at Animatch,
Just wanted to give you an update about Shep. He’s doing great! He has really fit in here and accepted it as his home. He is very loyal to us and we can’t go anywhere in the house without him following! He loves to play and is really just a big baby. If we don’t feel like playing with him, he just plays on his own. He’s very intelligent but at the same time kind of goofy. He loves to chase flies and other flying insects. We brought him down to the water and he actually went after the foam bubbles in the water. Also, he does this thing that we call “honking” which is how he interacts with things. He “honks” them with his nose to see how they react. He does this with all his toys, objects on the ground, the other dogs around here and even the cats. It’s hilarious to watch. I think that shows a high level of intelligence as he tries to directly interact with things. His buddy is our greyhound Sunshine. He “honks” her on the collar/neck and then runs away. He also loves to collect scrap wood around the yard and bring it back to his “den”. He has about 15 pieces of wood there now. He also loves to burp!
