She is absolutely wonderful

We have had Lucy (aka Extra) home for a week now. She is absolutely wonderful. She remains shy of people, however, Charly, our other Min. Schnauzer has openly welcomed her and has given up his cherished sheepskin bed for her comfort. She is now starting to understand what fun it can be to run around our yard, sniff under bushes for garter snakes (ugh) and chase after stuffed toys to see if she can get them before Charly does. She was to the beauty parlor the other day so I have provided a before and after photo for everyone to enjoy. When all that matted long hair came off we found a petite black and grey darling miniature schnauzer. She slept up on our bed last night along with Charly and was content for the whole night. She will be visiting the vet next week to be sure her surgery is all healed up and I am sure she will receive a clean bill of health. Thank you Animatch for all you do in giving dogs like Lucy (Extra) another chance at life.
