Fan of Animatch

WOLF PACK WALK

As a student at St-Thomas High School in the International Baccalaureate
program, our year end requirement is to complete a personal project. Being a
supporter of Animatch and their work in the community, I decided to hold a
fundraising project called the “Woof Pack Walk”. My goal was to raise
awareness on the unfortunate realities of puppy mills and to collect
donations to support Animatch.
I choose Animatch because they are truly spectacular with keeping our
animals safe and have a reputation for being a well-run organization that
caters to everyone’s needs, owner and animal, for the complex adoption
process.

My event consisted of an outdoor dog walk in Centennial Park, including a
barbecue, an information booth, a homemade dog cookie booth and numerous
raffles booths including gift cards and baskets from the local pet supply
stores and even loge hockey tickets for our beloved Habs fans!

I was thrilled to have exceeded my expectations and I was proud to present
Animatch with a donation from the event of $1,300.

Special thanks to JD entertainment for supplying the music, my school
project mentor Mr.Mimidakis, my fellow students that worked at the event and
my family.

Lastly I would like to thank Helen Lacroix, Sherri Utter and Jen Szabo at
Animatch for helping me along the way.

Thank you all for teaching me a life experience that I will never forget!
