Riley is the calmest, most gentlest dog I have ever met

Hello Helen and Joanne and Sherry! Here is an update on Riley (formerly known as Honey formerly known as Molly!). With a little struggle in the beginning until us humans figure out what we were supposed to do all is wonderful with our beautiful Riley. She is very delicate but yet very strong dog (if a squirrel is in view!). If I have one piece of advice for anyone adopting a dog older than puppy stage donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t assume that you do not need to crateÃ¢â‚¬Â¦. CRATE! At least until you come to understand each other. We now are the proud owners of a designer door, as well as designer wall, designer moldingÃ¢â‚¬Â¦. unique with its own dog teeth markings and all!

Riley is the calmest, most gentlest dog I have ever met. UntilÃ¢â‚¬Â¦. You leave her alone. Now that we have a crate for her, all is great. She even goes to her crate when we are home, it is like her bedroom. It seems that she needs her Ã¢â‚¬Å“denÃ¢â‚¬Â to feel secure when she is alone.

Riley joined our family September 1, 2008 and we have often asked ourselves how lucky can we be to have her part of our family! Thank you Animatch for all you do and all the support that you give. Keep up the great work.
