Orson LOVES the water

Orson is doing great!

We are so pleased that him and Maggie have quickly become the best of friends, and so soon! We couldn’t be happier with him and can’t imagine life without his little antics.

The other day when we were walking to the park a motorist yelled to Charlie “You look like your dog!” and Charlie said “Thanks!” and now they are both scheduled for haircuts this week. I will send pictures.

Orson has gained 3.5 kg since we brought him home and is starting to put a little bit of muscle on his bones. He has been getting lots of exercise during walks and on the hot days we take him to the local off-leash beach where he LOVES the water. In 2 weeks we set out on our 7-day canoe trip in Algonquin Park and I know he’s going to have a great time. Maggie, Charlie, Orson, and I are also beginning an obedience class together on September 9th.

Anyway, thanks again for everything -

Orson is an amazing dog and a perfect fit for our family.
