News from Buddy

Hi all. Just wanted to say hi and send you a smile. Catherine says I’m completely crazy but adorable. We play a game where I sneak over to the garden, or her plants, and start to eat the dirt. When she sees this, she tries not to smile (but smiles anyway!) and comes over to chase me away. It’s so much fun! She and Dave are very pleased at how helpful I am around the house. I make the lawn mowing chore go quicker by eating the grass. My tummy is fine - the grass just tastes so good! They think I’m helping with the chores, but don’t realize that the faster the lawn is mowed, the sooner I get to present them with a ball to throw for me! Humans are so gullible! Have a great day!

Hi Catherine,
As you can probably guess, Buddy is a very common name for dogs. Could you please let us know what Buddy’s previous name was when he was an Animatch resident? That way, everyone will know which one this update is from. We’d also love a photo if you have one that you can send. Thanks Catherine!!
Sorry, I evidently made a mistake on this one. I need to take computer 101 again! Buddy was originally Patchy. I’d sent a picture, but somehow, something got lost in the translation/transmission! I’ll try to rectify this immediately, because it was a really great picture with him smiling!
No Catherine, I think it’s a problem on our end as you are the third person to mention that the photo was attached and then it wasn’t!! I have passed on the message to our webmaster. If you would like to try and send a photo again, please do. I will keep an eye out for it. I’m looking forward to seeing Patchy again!!
As a volunteer, I miss Patchy!! He was so special to me as I took him to Meet & Greets!! One gets very attached to our furry friends that we take care of & spend time together. I am so happy that Buddy is in his FOREVER HOME!! Enjoy your new life Buddy——YOY deserve it!!!!
O.K., well, I gave Catherine a bit of a scare. Evidently, I zigged, when I should have zagged, and ended up getting some kind of silly thing in my eye when I was sniffing something really, really great on the ground during one of our walks! Three weeks and eighteen gazillion eye drops later, I’m good to go, and am somewhat more careful about where I put my nose when I’m onto a phenomenal scent! On the plus side, every time I had to get those cursed eye drops, I got a treat in the process for having been so cooperative. I should have perhaps milked this for all it’s worth, but I felt so sorry for Catherine, that I couldn’t do it to her, something she is thankful for. Just another thing to remember to bring to her attention the next time I’m not being given attention after a ten minute period of the day. Life is good!
