Conratulations! It looks like Mitch likes his new little brother. Hope that Milo’s introduction to the feline side of the family went well.
Thank you Joanne. Actually the introduction was quite complicated and still is. He is a Hunter, it’s tough and takes long time for him to calm down. But he learns quick. We have an extended trial so we will keep on working on it. I did not reach the trainer you mentioned to me, i had left a voicemail, nothing so far.
and he loves Mitch
And yes, Mitch loves him
Oh I adopted Raggzy the terrier in May and also have cats…after 36 hrs we were very worried we would have to give her back. She was far too focused on Ziggy and Zuzu. We always have the upstairs blocked so they have a place to get away and Raggzy can’t reach them. We also have trees in almost every room so they can get high up and away from her. I truly believe now that when she chases them she just wants to play…they just swat back LOL I think if anyone was going to get hurt it would have happened by now. They tolerate each other but every day they all manage to sleep together with one of us either on the couch or in bed. I wish you luck…I know it is very very disheartening. I hope it is a success story!!!
Thank you for your kind words. I am happy to report that he is adopting to his new family very well. We had several moments where he was soo close to cats and nothing happened. Other times it might happen that he tries to snap at them. We rae always there to look after him. Soo far so good. He is improving and we did not think this could ever be as good as it is. We decided to keep him forever, we love him so much
we will work it out, with patience
he has actually been ill for a vew days and couldnt move around a lot, so the cats were curious and sort of worried about him, very cute
I will keep you posted.
