Lucy (Extra) and Charly (Vagabond)

Here are our two wonderful Animatch adoptees. Lucy on the left and Charly on the right. They have become best buddies and play endlessly in the yard chasing squirrels and mourning doves. Lucy is still skittish and I am sure will always be having lived for two years in a breeding pen but is now more than eager to meet someone on her terms. She has a favourite spot on our couch and loves to prance up to Charly and nip him in the neck to get him to play. Charly has taught her so many things and has been more active (!) since she has arrived. They will be doing some travelling with us this summer in our RV. Can’t wait. Love them to bits. We adopted one of Lucy’s puppies, and Sophie (Snookie) sounds like she takes after her mom! Great to see Lucy looking so good.

So good to hear from one of Lucy’s pups moms. Would love to see a picture of Sophie. From the matted, shaking, smelly, glazed eye dog we first adopted to what Lucy is now is truly amazing. I am so thankful her last litter will never know the same sort of life she did. Thank you for taking Sophie into your home.
