Life is good!

Hi there! Nellie here. Yup, I kept my name, since it fit me so well. Sometimes I get called Nell Nell or Nelzie too. My family is treating me oh so good! I am spoiled rotten and get loads of treats and affection. These humans waited a long while before adopting a dog, so I think they have years of love saved up! Who knew life with humans could be so good!
I did have a problem with one of my knees, geez not even 3 years old and I needed surgery. But Dr. Plasse took care of that, and I am on the road to recovery. Just getting the spring back in my step and feeling energetic. I decided to take a dive into my family’s pool a few days ago. They weren’t quite ready for that, but mom jumped in and got me out! Now they’ve bought some fancy stairs, so I guess I might be allowed to do it again. I’ve heard lots of talk about me getting a brother or sister once my leg is fully recovered. I am so excited for that because I miss having all my sisters around. Olive, Judy, and Lucy were all adopted too, so I am very happy for them!

Nellie, our beautiful Newf girl. You are definitely with the family that loves and takes care of you. After the leg is recovered, we’ll see what we can do to find you a pal.
