Keen all these years later

Hi everyone,
Approximately 6 years ago I came out to Animatch in the hopes of being able to give an abandoned animal a new home. I grew up with dogs all my life, had just lost my 2 dogs within a 6 month period and was missing the comfort a pet brings to a home.
Keen was a poor little guy who had a rough start to life, in his first 6 months. He was so thin, and had issues but I didn’t care. He deserved to be loved. So the skinny little pup who jumped, sometimes bit and was fearful came home with me.
Here we are all these years later and Keen has grown up into such a good dog, listens really well, is very sociable and is a very happy guy.
I’m glad I was able to find Keen at Animatch. Every time I hear of a friend looking for a dog I quickly recommend Animatch.
Thanks everyone for giving these pets a second chance at a good life. If i could adopt and spoil them all, like Keen has had, I would.

I have been volunteering at Animatch for many years and I can’t remember all the dogs that have passed through our doors but I do definitely remember Keen .... he has grown and filled out but those ears are still the same. Keen was a rambunctious adolescent when you adopted him and I’m sure it wasn’t a walk in the park that first year or so but thank you for sticking with him and helping him grow into the dog he is today. Give him a big hug.
