IN MEMORY OF LITTLE CAMY

It’s with saddness and broken hearts that our family wishes to advise all of our Animatch friends that Camy passed away on December 7th, 2011.
Since August of this year, Camy and our family fought so very hard to keep loving each other but God had other plans for Camy, He needed another little angel at Rainbow Bridge. We shared Camy’s life for 3 wonderful years, from day one she was a Daddy’s girl sharing with my husband an invisible bond that will never be broken. With Mommy, she shared kisses and cuddles that will never be forgotten.
I am sharing a picture of Camy where she enjoyed herself the most, at our campground. I hope there is grass and sunshine up there for you Camy since you were your happiest sunning yourself little mimi.

How incredibly sad for you and your family. I feel I knew Camy from reading your posts and have been hoping she may pull through this - but it just wasn’t to be. Camy’s last three years were undoubtably the happiest she could ever know. To find the love and care you and your husband provided for her was truly a blessing. You are special people to have had such a special furbaby in your care. She will stay in your hearts and memories for a lifetime. Farewell sweet Camy you will be missed by all those whos lives you didn’t even know you had touched.
I am sad for you and your family..You are wonderful caring people ..I went through what you are going now ..
You have a special star shining in heaven

God’s Garden
God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your precious face
He put His arms around you
And lifted you to rest;
God’ s Garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew you’ d never ever
Get well on earth again.
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered ” Peace be thine “
Then He took you up to Heaven
With Hands so gentle and kind.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God welcomed you home.

To: Lily and family, what a wonderful, wonderful life you gave to your precious Camy. May all of the wonderful times and sweet memories help get you through this very difficult time. Rest in Peace, sweet little Camy. As your mommy mentioned, hope a ray of Heaven’s sunshine kisses your little nose every single day! xxoo
Lily, may you and your family find comfort in the treasured memories of the wonderful times you spent together with your beloved Camy.
So sorry…she was blessed to have found your family and lived out her last years with a lot of love. Heal with knowing how much joy you received from each other and that connection you have on earth and perhaps beyond.
Lily, I am so sorry and so sad for you and your family… You made a tremendous difference in this little gem’s life. You gave her love and she could learn how it feels to be precious to someone. She was a little princess for some wonderful years, and that is how everyone should remember her. We don’t get to meet many people as caring as you, but now it is your turn to get some comforting words and thoughts. I know that nothing we can say will bring her back, but my thoughts are with you. To Camy : RIP sweet little princess. xxx
I am so sad for your loss, Lily and Raymond. Just as for JFranke, many of us fell in love with Camy through your stories and anecdotes. She had a huge personality, was a natural leader and an adventurous spirit. Despite her rough past, Camy showed only her loving and helpful nature to all she met, including newcomers, Lola and Kody. A rescued Mill Mum and already 5 years old when you adopted her, Camy was an example to us about not keeping a grudge, never letting past experiences color new ones, and always keeping an open heart because love is possible at any moment. It is obvious she brought so much joy and laughter to your family.
Isn’t it interesting that when our paths do cross with a magnificent being such as Camy, we never think she was lucky to have had us. Instead, we are so thankful to have known her and to have been blessed by her presence in our lives, no matter how briefly.
My own magnificent being has just climbed up into my lap and is looking at me with big soulful eyes, hoping for a romp in the fresh snow together. Today, I feel Camy’s little nudge on my conscience, as if to say, “Silly Kat, leave the computer and go laugh and play with her - there’s nothing better than a romp in fresh snow and a photo shoot…just don’t forget to say “Treat” when you point the camera!”
Bless you, Camy, and thank you. We are so going to miss you. xoxoxoxoxxoxox
Thank You all so much .... tears running - nose a blowing but still my husband and I found a smile in all of your comments. Yes, it’s so very hard - we still call her name by mistake then remember she will never run to us again and tears flow. How such a small little furbaby can leave such a crater in our lives is almost unbelievable.
She was quite the little furbaby - touched everyone who knew her and like some said, touched them by my words in FanMail…. We were very fortunate to have been Camy’s people family - she brought us so much Joy each and every day. You never know when sickness will strike your furbabies - hug - kiss and love them to the fullest like today was your last day with your furbaby.
Since early November, we did just that with Camy we knew we were on borrowed time - denial at times but deep inside we knew so we loved her like there was no tomorrow and on December 7th there was no tomorrow; just an empty side of the daybed she shared with little Kody - an empty place at the foot of our bed.
Thank You from the bottom of my heart - the poem from EFFI emptied the last of our tears for today. It is so beautiful - some verse are so Camy !!!
Just thinking of you ! while you are griefing the lost of Camy !
A Letter From Your Pet In Heaven
To my dearest family,
some things I’d like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.
I’m writing this from the Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there’s no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I’m out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, “I welcome you.
It’s good to have you back again,
you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family,
They’ll be here later on.”
God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
the day’s chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you…
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you,
you wouldn’t understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o’er.
I’m closer to you now,
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I’d like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who’s in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night…
“My day was not in vain.”
And now I am contented…
that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along
I made somebody smile.
God says: “If you meet somebody
who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up,
as on your way you go.
When you’re walking down the street
with me on your mind;
I’m walking in your footsteps
only half a step behind.”
“And when it’s time for you to go…
from that body to be free.
Remember you’re not going…
you’re coming here to me.”
Françoise
I am so sorry for your loss. Camy was a lucky little girl to have found a Mom and Dad that loved her so very much. She will always be your little guardian angel.
Françoise I don’t know where you find these poems they are truly beautiful .... Thank You. I’ll forever keep in mind: ‘’ that when it’s time for you to go from that body to be free - that your’re not going you’re coming here to me.’’ God has a precious little furangel by his side…. he is going to be so so proud of her.
Now if these tears can only let up ..... wish God could have lent her to us for a few more years though :-(
Camy .. I have Many many nice poems which I got from the internet .. When I lost my “” chloé “” 14 yrs old poodle ..3 years ago ..
I checked the internet and found so many poems which help me through my grief .. Your shinning star is in heaven with all the furbabies .. take care ...
So sorry to hear of little Camy’s passing it is truly one of life’s most difficult times :( it leaves such a BIG hole in our lives. You will remember her always.
I was so sorry to hear the news about Camy. Hope you can find solice in the fact that you made a difference in each lives. Thinking about you in this difficult time.
I picked up Camy’s ashes on Monday - she is now alongside Lady Q in the doggie angel urn. I told my husband, ‘’ you know that it was Q who found Camy so it is only fitting that they be together.’’ Now, our family can begin the process of accepting our loss - when we want to feel her presence all we need to do is lift the little angel guardian top and touch the little bag wrapped in her favorite bandana.
