I now have a wonderful home

I hope you remember me! when I was a guest at your house this summer, my name was Ginger and I had a tag number 101. I wasn’t very happy at the time, what with all of the changes in my life, but looking back I see how very fortunate I was to meet you.

I now have a wonderful home, with my new best friend, Ginger. Yes, having the same name was a bit of a problem, so I changed my name to Zoey, but that is not all that changed. I have my own kennel with a big comfy cushion that I sleep in when everyone is out (and sometimes when I just want to be by myself). There are bones to chew and ropes and balls to play with, and the best part is two teenage boys who really “know” how to play!

I had to go to school, which I thought would be a drag, but it was really fun. I got to understand new words like sit, stay, down and come. I still need some work on heeling. My masters are still confused and don’t seem to understand that the whole point of going for a walk is to get to the park as fast as you can. But I will be patient, they certainly have been.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for being there for me when it didn’t work out at my first home. I hope you can keep welcoming dogs like me and finding them happy homes like this one.
