Hello from Hunter (formerly Yeller)

Hey Animatch - Just wanted to give you an update on how Hunter is doing - I can sum it up in one word - GREAT. I have never seen a more lovable dog in my life. He is my shadow, following me around the house constantly. He and his brother Chase spend a lot ot time wrestling on the floor and it is usually Hunter that starts it. He loves to play, loves to be petted, loves attention and loves to give kisses. He is such a good dog. He has gained weight and even plays in the back yard chasing a ball once in a while. He loves to go for walks and gets super excited when I ask him - Do you want your supper now. As soon as he sees I have a treat in my hand he will sit down in front of me and give me his paw without asking usually. He is a clown who loves to get praise no matter what he has to do. He has gotten the habit of come up to you and pushing your hand onto his head to get petted. I wish I could find the people who abandoned him just to let them know what a gem they gave up. I can’t imagine our home without him now. He certainly was a welcome addition.

Wow, he looks great!! I can tell by the photo that he has filled out a bit. I am so happy that he has found his forever family and that he has a playmate as well. Please give him an extra squeeze from me. Congratulations Hunter!! Please feel free to continue to send us updates in the future.

Love updates about Hunter and it sounds like he has quite the personality. A “clown”, who would have thought….. A smiling dog makes this human smile .
