He loves his toy squirrel and taking long walks

It has been awhile but I wanted to send you a little note with an update on our dog Booker. When we adopted him in Feb 2008 from Animatch, he was called Diego. Yesterday I got to thinking about Animatch when I witnessed a protest against Quebec puppy mills in downtown Montreal. One of the speakers spoke of the importance of adopting a pet from shelters, and not buying them at pet stores. It reminded me of our experience with Animatch. Since then I have praised your service to friends and strangers alike, suggest to anyone looking for a pet to deal with their local shelters.

Booker is doing great and he just loves his new home. He had a great summer up at the cottage and we learned just how much he loves water. Often barking and chasing the mini waves crashing against the dock and rocks. He loves his toy squirrel and taking long walks with the family. We also learned how much he loves cats, in seeing how he gets along with our cat Flower. He is very protective of our 6 year old daughter and is happiest when all of us are cuddled on the couch watching a movie together.

Our family would like to thank you for finding Booker and taking care of him before we came into his life. We are so happy to have found him and we cannot imagine our lives without him. We thought you would appreciate a little update, and get a little info on how he is doing.
