Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all my Animatch friends! Mom thought it would be fun to dress us all up this year ... we were not overly impressed but what can you do? Gotta love them humans.

How on earth did you get them to stay - ALL 3 OF THEM… I also have a three pack and believe me they are all over the place. Kat I believe or Debbie told me to throw them a steak, it would keep their attention for a photoshoot .
Just beautiful - even though they really are not impressed with their cosstume.
This shot brings a smile to my face every time I look at it!How miserable they look is quite comical! (doggie mug shot)...Good job Megan, priceless!
Hahahaha, the joys of photoshop! I actually only have 1 frog costume and took them each to the “photoshooting area” one by one. I just love how they all ended up giving me the same expression! I also do hold a treat bag over my head to get them to look right at the camera ...
There you go, Lily! Photoshop is ur answer! hehe!
Darn tootin I am going to download Photoshop or purchase the program
Kody is like a woundup toy ... he’s all over the place. He knows Belle can’t or just wont bother to chase him and poor litte Camy just isn’t feeling good enough to play these days. It’s very hard to watch her slide the way she is doing lately.
Camy’s mom, you can download a 30 day trial right off the website if you wish to try it out. I personally LOVE the program. Even with an SLR camera, I still use photoshop A LOT! From simple things like cropping and removing red-eye, to editing out leashes and removing any annoying background objects.
Sorry to hear about Camy :( If you have any good pictures of Camy, Belle or Kody (individual or together) I can try to make you something out of them. No promises though! Sometimes the lighting just isn’t right on some photos and I can’t blend them together, I’m definitely not a pro! I’m a self-taught photoshop enthusiast! For this photo I made sure to pose them all in the same spot and from the same angle ... that way I knew the lighting would be the same. Anyway, I’d be happy to give it a try!
Hi Megan, which website do you recommend for the trial download….I see lots of them, should it be Adobe photoshop? Thanks!
Debbie,
Sorry, I could have been a little more specific in my previous post! I use photoshop elements, which is a smaller version of the full blown photoshop. I can’t send you the direct link over the fanmail page (won’t allow it) but I can send it to your email address OR you can just type in
“Adobe Photoshop Elements” then click on the first link in google, then click “downloads” (top of the page) and then look for elements.
Happy photoshopping!!
Oh my…..couldn’t resist commenting…..off the scale cuteness. Their expressions are priceless…looks like three knights
They are beautiful aren’t they….. I know Mac was adopted from Animatch but I don’t know about the other 2 knights lol
Megan, your photos of your pooches are always great—this win is prize worthy!.
Mac was adopted from Animatch in 2009.
Mya (the yellow lab) we took in from a man that no longer wanted her. We are her fourth (and LAST!) family. Apparently he wanted to use her as a hunting dog but she barked too much. We got her at 4 years old and she is now 11. She is old, smelly, gassy, has arthritis and is still a barker but we love her to bits!
Riley (the neurotic chocolate) is our first and last pet store purchase. He is now 9 years old. We had adopted our first dog and we had a bad experience with the pound. Toby was very sick the day we got him. A few years (and many vet bills) later, he passed away to cancer. At that point we needed another canine companion and decided to try a pet store. Well, Riley has had his own set of problems! He is insanely gassy, has so much energy that he cut the tip of his tail and we had to have it amputated, he also tore his ACL and suffers from severe allergies. We are now educated about puppy mills and will NEVER go down that route again!
Megan, you are the definition of a responsible dog owner…no dog(or human
is perfect..but we accept and love them because in return they bring us so much joy and unconditional love. My rescue came with a lot of issues but with patience and hard work she is so well adjusted and loving. It makes my heart swell… and this imperfect dog has become my perfect dog.
Our family adopted Camy on March 29th, 2009 from Animatch so both our families adopted the same year !! We adopted Kody on Sept 3rd this year. When I look at Coda’s face I believe his nose is bigger than Kody lol….
Our family also took in unwanted furbabies - sick furbabies - my husband went bird hunting one year and came home with a dog !!! The dog’s throat was raw - had weltes full of watery discharge etc.. - it was tied to a tree by his collar ( of course no tags ) and left to die. That dog cost us a pretty penny !!!! We had him with us for over 5 years before he died. That dog guarded my first born son like there was no tomorrow..
As you guys all know, Camy has renal defiency and our family is working very hard to keep her with us - so far, she hasn’t slipped into the critical stages - my husband and I love her dearly and agreed that we would not subject her to intervineous (spelled wrong ) flushing etc… if she gets worse. We love her but will not let her suffer for our own selfish feelings. I hope you guys understand our decision and not judge our family too harshly.
Love, love, love this picture, it just makes me want to smile.
Thank you,
;O)
Lily, I for one, won’t judge you. It’s a heart-wrenching decision and experience to go through. You will make the right decision for Camy when you “know” the time as come. So, so, hard though~
Megan, your photo is really a big hit!
I laughed right out loud when I saw this photo. It speaks volumes about what our canine friends will do to please us even when they so obviously are wanting to be anywhere else but where they are wearing the outfit that makes them look like those little guys (Ewoks) from the Star Wars movies. Thanks for sharing.
