February 2010 Update On Kismet

Greetings and Happy New Year! Kismet is a Bouvier des Flandres I adopted from Animatch just before Christmas 2009 and soon to celebrate her second birthday in March.
For Kismet’s many fans please know our girl continues to enjoy her new life in Toronto and enriches our lives here at home with her youthful energy daily. Kismet is very settled in to her daily routine and is my alarm clock most mornings with gentle wet-nose nudges that it is cuddle time. Imagine! An 80lb. dog who won’t get on the bed until it’s time to get up, and then lays on her back for a cuddle session with daddy! Too cute.
The picture I have attached is of Kismet out walking in a pretty park that is close to home. We have 4 routes we walk daily and she knows them all. This park is our afternoon route and features this lovely winding path complete with a stream to venture along. Talk about picture perfect!
Having the responsibility of a dog in my life again has done wonders for my health and well being. My compliments to Kismet’s Animatch Foster Mom Lori and the many other volunteers for your work with our gorgeous girl - who at this moment is nudging my arm telling me she has finished her breakfast and is ready for her morning walk! Take care for now and please know Kismet is loved, groomed, bathed and get’s plenty of attention and exercise.

I don’t know why I question what takes so long for some animals to be adopted .. but then, I read a story like Kismet’s and how much they are loved and cherished and it’s very clear why it took so long .. their people hadn’t found them yet.
So happy for Kismet!!!
Thank you for the update on Kismet…. so happy that yet again Animatch has worked wonders. We all feel sad when we see a furbaby waiting to be adopted… we all want them to find homes quickly. Animatch wants more than that - they want a forever home. I am so happy for both of you - Angels works in mysterious ways. Enjoy each other to the fullest.
We will never tire of hearing updates from you about Kismet. It looks like a lovely place for her to be walking to.
