Dexter (aka Tristan)

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick up date on Dexter- we have had him for exactly 2 months today and he is just a great dog to have. He has filled out and is big and strong…all his ribs and hip bones no longer stick out and his fur has a nice shine to it. He is spoiled rotten, several walks a day in the woods behind our house and even better he has a girl friend (also was abandoned) right next door who he plays with for hours a day,running wrestling and just goofing around. He has become quite a dog of comfort, only couches, beds with duvets will do….if he has to, his dog bed will do in a squeeze. But he sure does know how to snuggle and suck up to avoid getttng the boot. He sure is a lover!!

He still has memories of his awful past and can be quite nervous at times. With time I am sure that will fade. Want to Thank Animatch and all the people who were instrumental in bringing Dexter back from a potential miserable end. We love him so much as does Jezebel (Animatch Rescue cat)

I saw Dexter at the center and recognized him right away. He looks amazing and happy. He is one lucky dog to have landed you folks. A gentle loving boy.

I am so happy to hear how well Dexter is doing! I met him at the centre a few times and he is such a sweet and loving boy. I read your update to my family who had also met him and how he is now being spoiled and living in luxury and we all teared up with happiness.

It was very nice to have Dexter visiting with us. He looks great. It was nice to see him actually play with toys and interact with the other dogs. He hadn’t learned that yet while he was with us. Congratulations Dexter on your new and improved life!!!

So nice to hear news about Dexter and it was great to see him at the Center, he is still as loveable as ever, but now he is healthier, looks better and he is not as scared as before, we instantly all fell in love with him the day he arrived, what a loveable wonderful dog.
Thank you for taking good care of him, he is lucky and so are you !
