Charlie’s Success

Hi to all at Animatch! Here’s an updated photo of Charlie (formerly Waggit), my handsome little man. He loves this corner of the living room couch because he can see out the front windows. Joanne, I’m thrilled to report back that we seem to have conquered the housebreaking issues! Charlie is clean indoors virtually all the time now and I’m SO proud of him. He’s quickly learning to “ask” to go out by waiting at the top of the back stairs or by coming to me, standing up on his hind legs and putting his front paws up on me or my chair. We are thriving by having a good routine and understanding each others signals. I can’t tell you how much I love him : ) I thank Animatch every day.

That is a beautiful picture of Charlie, he looks great.
Thank you for the update on him, we love getting them.
Have a wonderful summer.
;O)
He looks totally AT HOME….... congrats to you and your family for adopting - Please spread the word - there are so many beautiful furbabies just looking for their forever home.
Sure doesn’t look like Charlie misses a meal! He looks so content and healthy - and I’m not surprised. This little guy has a doting Mom, who even bends the rules for him when it comes to cuddle time. Elaine, take a minute to go back to Charlie’s “Success Story” photo. It’s amazing to see the difference in the dogs’ eyes and overall demeanour, once they find their right place in the world.
Hi all! Thanks for the nice comments : ) Surprisingly, Charlie has not gained any weight… must be the angle he’s laying against the pillows LOL He still weighs 12 pounds, as of today. His coat has gotten so shiny and healthy-looking and guess what? The hair is slowly growing back over the end of his tail, for those who remember his “bald patch.” He even lets me clip his nails (my new learning experience!). Darlene, I know exactly what you mean… I’ve looked back at his photo here and the ones I took when I first brought him home—there’s a huge difference in his eyes. He’s bright, clear and so attentive. He LOVES to cuddle and any time I sit down, he comes over to check if it’s time to be picked up. He’s so good for me. I’ve had several strangers ask me where I got Charlie ~ and I take every opportunity to talk about Animatch.
Being in the right homes makes all the difference in the world in a dog’s demeanour. Charlie is just happy and content and it shows.
