An update on Cooper

Hi! Just thought I would give you an update on Cooper. He is doing great! What a good dog. We are so happy with him and I think the feeling is mutual. He loves to go in the car out to my parents’ farm and gets along great with all the other dogs there. However, He can’t be trusted off the leash outside because he likes to follow his nose and there are a lot of wildlife smells there that interest him. That’s not a big deal though. We clipped his body for the summer because he gets so hot but we left his ears nice and curly. He looks really good. He’s gained 4-5 pounds since we got him and looks to be at his perfect weight.
We changed his food to a new brand “Core” that is very high in protein and contains no wheat because his skin was starting to get very dry. The food seems to have done the trick because the dry skin is much better.
I think we caught it before it got out of control. We get compliments all the time on how beautiful he is. I think this is partially because of how he looks but he also has the personality to go with it. Anyway, I will always be grateful for the great work you all do there and for our boy, Cooper. Thanks very much and have a great summer!!!
