An update from Zoey (Plush)

Hi folks at Animatch,
Excuse me for “talking” with my mouth full of a chewy snack! Thought I’d drop in with an update. I am settling into my new home quite well, but I must say that I have kept my new family QUITE busy! I have been deemed, by more than one professional, to be very intelligent, really stubborn and in possession of an ALPHA personality! Although, lately, Iâ€™ve been hearing my humans say that I am showing noticeable improvement in my behaviour. I am presently attending Puppy Kindergarten, and mom said that subsequently, (new big word Iâ€™ve learned), we will be going to Obedience Training. Every evening between 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. I turn into the Tasmanian Devil. Luckily, mom and dad have discovered a near-by dog run and they bring me there regularly. I have made many, many friends there, from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane! I get out all of my energy and then I come home and barely have enough left to chase my feline sister, (but much to her dismay, I sometimes get a second wind!). I have also been busy gardening and helping dad to clean up the back yard, by pulling out the excess grass, and weeds. I am also digging holes for future planting of flowers or shrubs, etc. I also like to strip the bark off of the logs in the yard. This ensures a nice smooth surface into which I can sink my teeth! I have quite a diverse palate, if left to my own devices; my diet would consist of cedar mulch, twigs, dirt, rocks even the occasional juicy spider! I have learned many new things, some tricks, some manners, and although, I am still very much a work in progress, I think that I have proven to my people that I have great potential! I like my new family, and I think that I will keep them! Thanks for hooking us up, Animatch!

Way to go girl!!! I am glad you like to taste different stuff as long as it is ‘legal’ Your family is very luck to have a great challenge, & they are well aware that the more they work with you, the better you will be.
Afterall, what makes a good dog??
Yup: socializing, excersice & training, the rest comes naturally Take care & keep us up to date. The volunteers at Animatch love to get all the scoop.
