A Happy Hello from Zoey

Well, in March when my first family was moving I was declared extra baggage so luckily they sent me to Animatch.

I didn’t last long there. My Mummy saw my profile as soon as it was posted, fell in love with my big beautiful eyes, applied for me; and two days later I began my new life. I like it here!!!! I love love love my walk/runs in the woods (I have lost 16 lbs), swimming in the pool, going for car rides, cuddling on the couch and choosing from a huge basket of chew toys in the living room.

I was so lucky to have Helene, Joanne, Heather and ALL the Animatch volunteers who gave me a safe place to land when my world crumbled. Even though I am a wee bit older (6 yrs old) my Mummy and Daddy know that I have a LONG happy life in front of me and we are all going to enjoy it together. Oh, and the best part…they even adopted a cute little sister for me to play with. But that is Raggsy’s story…

I love this update…it makes me think of my two doggies. We have a golden mix named Zoey (same spelling) adopted from Animatch and we also adopted a cute little sister (from Animatch) for Zoey to play with. Raggsy is so cute, and YOUR Zoey is really looking good! Two very lucky pups who have found a wonderful, loving home!

Zoey was at the vet yesterday. She has some minor but uncomfortable skin issues we have been dealing with and her non stop desire to be in the pool all the time has brought them back again. No big deal…a wee bit of lotion and keep dry as much as possible and she is as good as gold. The big news is she has lost TWENTY pounds in three months!!!! We love her so much…she is such a trooper and such a pure “golden” joy to have in our home.
