Aqua, Azure, and Skye need our help

They are the result of a foolish breeder’s quest for unusual or exotic colours in her dogs. The outcome was a litter with three puppies born with birth defects. The breeder’s answer to the problem was to end their life; however, a Vet with a conscience decided that a puppy’s life should not be terminated at 8 weeks because of a disability. The Vet called a rescue. All three girls were born blind or with very limited vision; one will require surgery for luxating patellas.
Animatch is committed to these three little puppies and we will do the surgery or surgeries required. They still wag their tails, love to snuggle, and are always good for a belly rub – just like any puppy! We need your continued support to help these dogs who cannot help themselves.
Please donate to help the 3 little puppies now.

They look so sweet. stupid stupid people.
It is incomprehensible how humans can be so CRUEL and SELFISH!! These 3 puppies are so lucky to have been saved by Animatch who will find them the loving homes that they deserve.
Can the person who done this be charged or something anybody who knows anything about dogs to get that color usually leads to blind or a deaf dog. People make these dogs casue the colors are beautiful, when there are so many other beautiful dogs homeless out there then we end up with blind dogs that have nice looking fur crazy, I think I read that 1 in every 5 dogs with this color live becasue they are born blind or deaf. Poor animals to start their life like that. That person should never be allowed to own an animal again, I think it is cruelty, thank god for the vet and animatch I wish the best for these puppies, it’s a sin what they done
It is indeed Sinful and Shameful, Kelly! and I hope that on judgement day, they get what they deserve!...or better yet…while they are still of this earth!....P.S. Whether or not they thought they “knew” what they were doing, it evidently became a Non-Issue, because clearly they did not worry too much about any “undesirable” outcome; their callousness easily enabled them to not think twice about disposing of the “unwanted trash”~ DESPICABLE all the way around!
This person makes me sick! I did’nt know she just wanted them DEAD, but just wanted to abandon them… I really wish there was a kind of justice, and yes Debbie, I hope one day, this person will have to answer to Somebody about her acts. I am too emotionnal right now… But if anyone is interested, I found a page on internet, very exhaustive information on the “merle” dogs, where a cocker breeder explains the process, and specifies that he does NOT have merle cocker and will NOT breed them… it is “Zim family cockers”... That so called breeder should have read it before doing such a stupid thing!
By the way, when I say “just” wanted to abandon them, I did’nt mean like “OK” to abandon them, but just at least wanted them to get a chance at life… well, I guess you know what I mean. Sorry for my english, it sometimes plays tricks on me…
I am ready to take the chanlage to take all tree Cocker Spaniel. I already have a young pup at home with two cats. I have a new house and the basement will be all theirs for them to play and be safe at the same time. I have an hour lunch so they will never be alone more the 3 to 4 hours. I will love them and care for them. I have no children and I am 37 years old. they will be my children. I manage very well with the puppy I presenty have
Ryelee is a very smart Lab/Husky and I think she can be their eyes and they will have a blass playing with echother with supervision
Melanie, If you’re really interested in adopting these puppies, animatch has an Adoption form that you need to send in to them. The volunteers don’t always notice our comments and this is the only way to ensure they know you are interested. You can access the form by going to the Dog Adoption tab above and scrolling down to the adoption form.
Regardless of whether you are successful in adopting all three, you are a wonderful kind person for having the courage to step up and offer to adopt. Thanks to people like you, we can continue our work to make sure that our orphan dogs end up in furever homes with loving families. Bless you!
I have completed the adoptee form and still waiting for a response
Can’t stop looking at you tree little precious
I promise if I am chosen you will leave the Royal life
you will have the biggest family ever we are 10 of us on the Lacroix side and 36 on the Salazar side I promise you will not be bored and you will have lots of set of eyes. You will either have each your bed or you girls can choose to sleep all tree together. If destiny doesn’t choose us to be all together well I will be thinking about you all day I promise
I have been reflecting on whether or not to comment. I do not want to start a whole debate like the “doggies flying overseas” discussions, and I certainly do not want to rain on anybody’s parade. I am on the fence about how I, myself, feel about the 3 sweethearts being adopted together, by the same person. I am all for keeping the family together. The REALITY of this situation, however, is that even though we want to give these girls a normal life, the level of care that they will require will not necessarily be “normal”. They will require special attention, and ALOT of it, at that. The need to keep them SAFE would be foremost in my mind. Then comes the responsibility of teaching them about every day life, and working tirelessly with them, and ensuring that they have as fulfilling a life, as can be! In my opionion, it would be a huge responsibility, to be thoroughly thought through and taken BEYOND seriously. I just feel a little uneasy about someone adopting all three together. It makes me a little worried. That is however, only MY opinion, and I have been wrong before.
Good luck Melanie .. We all want the best for those adorable Dogs .With proper care they can lead a normal life .. I have a friend who has a blind dog since birth .. She is now five and leading a normal life .. So there is much hope for these three little girls .. Good luck xoxox
I hear what you say Debbie I would be happy with one as well. We were offering the option of keeping them together something we believe we can handle. It’s a commitment combined with time and love. Just open hearts reaching out.
Hi Melanie, I wish you success in your adoption, be it 1, 2, or 3 precious sweethearts. Your HUGE family sounds awesome. As you said: With lots of sets of eyes!...Bonne chance~
I’ve also filled out a form to adopt any of these wonderful puppies should the nice people at animatch feel it’s a good fit. And regardless of what the outcome of my adoption bid may be I would be happy to pay at least in part for Azure’s needed surgery.
As sad as this entire situation is I just can’t help but feel grateful and hopeful that there are still people willing to put their time and so much effort in helping out these poor creatures. After everything dogs have done for blind humans, the least with can do is pay them back with a little kindness. Thank you very much for all the important work that you do here.
HI Irina .. You seem to be a wonderful person .. I hope you are a match .. We need people like you .. Like you say ..Dogs leads the blinds humans and now humans lead the dog .. As I did, I sent a donation to help Azure’s Surgery.. Just fill out the donation form which is under their picture on the left .. Good luck
It makes me sick on how cruel breeders are with their animals. I feel as if they’re only looking for their own profit on how exotic they can make their pet look and when it goes wrong, you get a situation like this. Don’t worry pups, you’ll all have a wonderful future filled with love and guidance! Good Luck to all the big hearted people!
Mme Parker from Animatch call me back. I have left several messages after missing your phone call Sunday :( it is now Thursday morning. March 01, 2012
It is a well known fact what breeding a merle to a merle can result in. Any cocker breeder is aware of this but some chose to ignore it. I breed cockers and have for many years but will NEVER have a merle in my home or breeding program ever. Look what greed and selfishness has done to these sweet little babies. May karma come back and bite that breeder (and I use that term loosely) in the butt.
I think this is just a terrible thing to have happened to these little cuties. I myself have been eyeing them, but we already have two cocker spaniels, Dudley and Luke, from Animatch. It would be best to keep the girls all together, so Melanie my heart goes out to you for doing this. You are just wonderful and for sure a true dog lover. Hope it all works out for you and the girls. Good Luck and all the best.
